Feast or Famine made it on SPIN’s list of top 50 mixtapes of the year (#13). This means a lot to me, obviously, bc this shit was my baby, and it’s like he grew up and won a kung-fu tournament. We spent a lot of time writing, producing, recording, mixing, and mastering this EP. I know, it was only 8 songs, but fuck you…this shit played out like an album. Me, Ammbush, & DaVinci don’t make single songs…we make albums. That’s just our thing. If you like one song in particular, that’s cool, but this was meant to be listened to holistically in one sitting.
Main Attrakionz’s 808s & Dark Grapes II also made the list at #29. Should’ve been a lot higher if you ask me, this was my favorite Green Ova release yet. Biased? Yea, bc Ammbush mixed it and I mastered it, but the music is the best music Squadda and Mondre have created so far in my opinion.
Anyways, San Francisco and Oakland rappers in SPIN Magazine. Mainey.
Historic. This is the first drum machine I’ve ever used. It’s my older cousin’s. Didn’t even know she still had it. (Taken with instagram)

This is the newsstand guy I bought the issues at out here in Seattle. Not only is DaVinci #13 (producer), Main Attrakionz is #29 (mastering engineer). (Taken with instagram)
Feast Or Famine is no. 13 on Spin Magazine’s Top 50 mixtapes of 2011. Thanks to all of our supporters! This is only the beginning! (Taken with instagram)
