Major Lazer - Hold The Line (Feat. Mr Lexx and Santigold) from Mad Decent on Vimeo.

jake one dropped his album white van music in 4th quarter 2008. he’s gonna drop a group album with freeway in 2010 called the stimulus package. music videos for both projects came out in 2009, so seattle’s finest makes the list.
(both are rhymesayers releases.)
StreetMedia - “$ Orientated” (Music Video) from Sweetbreads Creative Collective on Vimeo.

one of the hottest hip-hop albums of 2009 is also one of the most slept on. emcee e.l.s. (stockton) teamed up with producer/dj ammbush (oakland) to form the group streetmedia and dropped a highly-underrated project. listen for yourself.
leave it to fat joe to come out with an amazingly unforgettable street single, only to follow it up with an easily forgettable album.
